"Minnie Rose Towler, at home, September 20, 1958; beloved wife of the late Herbert Lincoln Towler; loving mother of Mertrianna Towler and the late Edward H. Towler; grandmother of Herbert Bonner Towler and Mrs. Marjorie Towler Witt; also survived by five great-grandchildren. A native of Corunna, Michigan, aged 91 years. A member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Corunna, Michigan; Daughters of the Revolution of Minneapolis, and Minneapolis Chapter No. 9 O.E.S.
Friends are invited to attend service Wednesday, September 24, at 11 a.m. at the Gothic Chapel of Mountain View Cemetery. Terminus Piedmont Avenue, Oakland. Friends may call at Truman's, Telegraph Avenue at 30th Street, Oakland until 10 a.m. Wednesday. The Reverend Vere V. Loper, D.D. officiating."
Minnie married Herbert Lincoln TOWLER, son of Thomas TOWLER and Mertie ADAMS, in 1889. (Herbert Lincoln TOWLER was born in Mar 1864 in Ohio, died on 2 Feb 1920 in Minneapolis, MN and was buried in Lakewood Cemetery.) The cause of his death was suicide by gunshot to head.
